NSW Department of Education 2019 Sizzle Reel
Working across traditional digital and social channels, I was able to tell emotive and engaging stories to an audience of parents, staff, and students. This sizzle reel of our 2019 body of work was driven by the key message of
"Student Voices"
The Black Summer bushfires were some of the most devastating in Australian history. Many small communities were lost or impacted in the months the fires raged. As towns evacuated, schools were used as makeshift shelters, a respite from the loss for both children and parents. When I was tasked with telling the story of two small communities, Nymboida and Baryulgil, affected by the fire I didn't want to focus on the fires but the recovery of these close-knit, incredible, resilient communities.

Education LIVE - Costa
As the world went into lockdown within the space of two weeks, we were tasked with ensuring student wellbeing was maintained during this period of great uncertainty. From our homes, we ideated, produced, shot, and delivered 4 weeks of livestreamed daily content featuring prominent Australians as Education LIVE. This an excerpt from my favourite episode with Costa. We filmed this all under strict COVID-19 conditions and captured his infectious love for gardening and the natural world.
